High School Guest Bands
Every year, while Pitt students are away on academic breaks, the Pitt Bands invite local high school bands to perform at Pitt Men's Basketball games, Pitt Women's Basketball games, and Pitt Women's Volleyball games! A non exhaustive list of local bands that have taken advantage of this opportunity recently include:
- Mt. Pleasant HS
- Franklin Regional HS
- Hempfield Area HS
- Yough HS
- Penn-Trafford HS
- 100 students for Men and Women's Basketball Games (Petersen Events Center)
- 50-60 students for Women's Volleyball Games (Victory Heights)
If you would like to bring your band down or would like additional information, please reach out to Assistant Director of Bands, Mr. Michael Buckstein, at mbuckstein@athletics.pitt.edu.
